Summer concert update for Lafayette, IN

Well folks! I'm in the think of it now! Festival season is upon us and I'm in the thick of it managing Indiana Fiddlers Gathering, Big Pine Breakdown, as well as a slew of super fun shows I'm continuing to book to celebrate 20 years of Mom&Pop Productions.

Tuesday's continue to chug along at People's Brewing this summer! Fingers crossed we can get the patio up and running for music soon! We've been trying to improve a few things out their this year so keep an eye out for when we have it going for shows!

I've also been sprinkling in some Saturday night events at People's as well! We are actively working on monthly dance parties as well as booking some really rad shows intended for the patio season! Check out all the shows I have announced so far!

June may seem a little sparse but believe me it's not! I'm spending a lot of my time getting ready for the Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering which is June 26th, 27th, and 28th this year at the Tippecanoe Battlefield in Battle Ground, IN! This three day festival celebrates folk and roots genres from around the world with three days of concerts, workshops, children's concerts, food trucks, local artists and vendors, and dancing! Then after the Fiddlers Gathering we go straight in to another all ages, parking lot shindig at People's Brewing Company! Friday July 3rd we will be hosting the 3rd annual Roots and Roll BBQ featuring The Deslondes, The Minks, and CoyoteBear! DJ Cratedigger will be spinning all vinyl sets through out the evening! Please be sure to purchase tickets in advance! This helps us prepare as this is an open air event which takes all day to set up and tear down and having a solid head counts helps us prep for staff, food, beverages, and parking! Roots and Roll BBQ is Friday July 3rd at People's Brewing Company! Open air, all ages event!

We are so close to launcing our membership program for Mom&Pop. This is community supported art and we will have perks for members that join. Mom&Pop is hoping to launch this in the spirit of Friends of Bob to help fund and improve our events through a community based and supported membership program. We will be using the funds to increase our pop up show frequency (Duncan Hall, Parking lot parties at People's) and hire more people to help me with the daily stuff that makes all the shows happen! I've reached a point where I cannot do anymore by myself so hoping I can get a few more folks to jump into this magical world of booking and promoting independent music!
