Gerald Bailey has become a staple for our People's Live music series performing with Black Bear Combo, Macrame Brass, and the Chicago Convoy. He returns to the taproom January 23rd with renowned composer and percussionist Harry James Brenner. They'll be performing a fusion of Lo-Fi Jazz, Grimy Hip Hop, and Chill Beats. Another rare treat of stellar Chicago talent filling our humble room with sounds!

Musician Gerald Bailey is an accomplished Chicago-area trumpet player and multi-instrumentalist who has recorded and played with popular bands like Mumford & Sons, Belle And Sebastian, Father John Misty, Ty Segall, and Kevin Morby. He's even performed at the White House for former President Barack Obama.

Born in New Jersey and bred in Chicago’s underground music scene, Harry James Brenner Jr. has built a musical career centered on the cross-pollination of different musical worlds. First known for his work as a member of Chicago ensembles like Killer Whales, Chandeliers, and Songs for Gods, his early work as a drummer helped push the boundaries of genres ranging from electronica to rock to afro beat.
